Little Kitties

We have a stray kitty that lives under our house. She just happens to have kittens that of course the boys love. The momma kitty the boys named Moon and she is pretty picky about when, where, and who she lets pet her. (typical cat). She has even hid the kittens from the boys but we found them today back under the house. So maybe she changed her mind about our two little hooligans. Anyways just some cute pics.

I am standing next to a thistle weed. Its so huge it looks like a tree.

Cash's favorite seat in the yard. Feeding the chickens some grass.

Videos of Dylan Rock

Almost 12 weeks old. Dylan is such an easy going baby, we love it! He has been sleeping consistently through most of the night until about 5 -630am, and is getting spoiled by everyone. He is the only baby right now in our ward, so we always get lots of attention.

Brooke And Jareds Visit

Brooke and Jared came to visit before I go back to work and we had a blast. We did a whirlwind tour of the coast and had lots of laughs. Here we are at the lighthouse in Newport overlooking cobblestone beach.

I just love my tulips that finally bloomed. We also went for a walk up the road and found lots of slugs of course and even some tadpoles.

Dylan loving the stroller ride and Cash holding a jar full of tadpoles that we scooped up.

And whats a trip to Newport without going crabbing? However, it was the wildest crabbing trip we've ever had. Perry brought up a scary looking fish with one of the crab rings. We thought for sure it was poisonous with how scary it was. The fish probably wasnt but we threw it back anyway. There was also a pesky sea lion that stole all our bait. It was so weird that he wanted the chicken. He even brought a drumstick up to the surface and was taunting us with it while he ate it. The real winner though was the seagull that stole some chicken from the sea lion and flew off with it.

Here is a shot of the sealion below the crab ring before he stole all the bait. Perry pulled this ring up just in time. At the end we spotted the sea lion again and we all grabbed a crab ring and started pulling them in as fast as we could. When you pull in a crab ring there really heavy and you sometimes really have to lean back and pull hard. Fortunately I was leaning back really hard and of course the railing is also there, but the sea lion gave my ring a really good jerk and yanked me forward, and of course stealing the last of the bait. He was pretty hungry, besides smart.
We also had fun in the yard and set up the slip and slide. Cash didnt like it but he had fun with the hose making sure it was nice and wet, even spraying us with it. We wold cover ourselves in some foamy soap and slide right down. We would get going pretty good. The best rider was Kyler... but it might of had something to do with his lack of clothing. (he is actually going feet first, besides being on his tummy) in the picture

We had a blast and hope they "come back soon" as the boys have been saying. Love you guys!
