Starlight Parade 2010

The Starlight parade is at night, and everything is lit. In this picture the people are caring lit stars in their hands and the float is a galaxy.
Grandpa Adams and Cash waving at the parade
The TRACTORS!
There are multiple bands (if your high school has a marching band in Portland you are in this parade) but I love how they light everything up. The instruments have glow sticks all the way around and without the flash it looks pretty cool. My favorite was a band that had somehow made there drums burst light every time they hit them. AWESOME! And below is a picture of the hard work on one of the western floats
Watching the parade. As the night wore on, people kept leaving so we got to sit closer and closer.
Cash loved it-- he just kept waving and waving at everyone. And that is not our dog sitting next to us but he was cute.
And here you can see how excited Kyler was. We didn't let him take his nap until 4pm (not a very hard thing to do-- he is not a fan of naps) and so he was awake for the entire show. And we accidentally put too much gel in his hair its not wet just desperately needs to be cut. He was dancing so much I thought he was going to tip his stroller over at times.

Sandy Memorial Day

At the beach watching the waves

Kyler throwing rocks in the waves-- Cash doesnt like to get too close to the ocean- which is just fine with us.

We were able to see a lot of our friends at our old wards picnic. Overcast day but no wind or rain makes for a great beach day! The boys playing in a river that empties into the ocean.

Kyler thinks he is a fish, but he found out this weekend that he doesnt have gills and he needs to learn how to swim, cause he sank like a rock when he fell in. He was completly under water, head down when we pulled him out. We feel very blessed that we were right there when decided to be a submarine. The boys only played in the water for a short while but you can tell how cold the water was by looking at Kylers blue lips, and he was still fighting to go play in the water when we were pulling all his cold clothes off and putting the warm ones on. Boys.
Kyler playing in our yard with my shoes on and Cash "fixin" his truck.
