Coastal Sledding and office

The boys love to ride their trucks down the hill. Since we dont have any snow this is as close as sledding as they're going to get this year. Make sure to check out the videos at the bottom! Kyler loves to just sit in his truck and he waits for Perry to push him back up the hill. He knows how to work the system.

Perry has been working hard at setting up his own office. YEAH! Its going to be Toledo Chiropractic and we just got the keys today to the office. Its a great location right across from the only grocery store. He still has a lot of work to do organizing it and everything but hopefully we will be up and running soon.

One of five rooms. ( half of the rooms are bright green carpet and the other half are brownish orange the main room and hallways are grey). It also comes with a break room and 2 bathrooms. We are so excited to have our own place!

This is the boys loft. It had a chimney in the middle of the room before and Perry knocked it out a couple of weeks ago and redid the floor. The boys love their room.

And of course the boys love the beach!

Halloween Weekend 2010

We had the best weekend!-- my parents made it over from MT! We have been busy moving (again) but his time back to the coast to our house:) So we spent most of the weekend packing and cleaning but we managed to make it to the beach. Mom and Cash both got soaked running from the waves. They got caught a few times, but the funniest was when Cash rolled in the waves and came up a sandman and Mom got wet all the way up her back without any spare clothes. By the time they were done playing Cash was naked, but still wanting to run some more. We also made it to the ward halloween party. Cash is an alligator (he thinks hes a dino) and we managed to get Kyler into a football uniform after a lot of screaming. They both had a lot of fun and got a lot of candy.

Depoe Bay Weekend

We were able to spend the weekend with Perry's grandparents out on the coast. September and October are really good weekends to catch some whales. And wow were they up close. They were surfacing right off the cliffs at the timeshare we were staying at. (right where Cash's head is in the picture of just Cash watching the ocean AMAZING!) We finally got the boys to sleep after an exciting day of swimming and beach fun. Kyler moves all over the place when he sleeps. Surprised Cash got any sleep at all. Thanks for the invite Grandma and Grandpa!

Start of Fall

We've been enjoying a beautiful Oregon Summer. I spend a lot of my day enjoying our yard. Cash is loving school and Kyler loves his alone time. (without Cash that is to steal his trains). The picture with Kyler is overlooking Portland at the Pittock mansion. There are lots of mini hikes around there in the arboretum. I cant believe all the beautiful flowers still in bloom. Perry is enjoying having our riding lawn mower from our huge Newport yard here in Portland. It takes him less then 10 minutes to mow the entire lawn- front and back. We have to lock June up while we mow as she loves to chase the lawn mower (shes not very smart), but after mowing we let her out in the yard and she came back with green paws.

Cash turned 4!

Happy Birthday Cash! Cash is still a little nervous around the candles. He didn't want to blow them out but luckily Kyler was upset because he wanted to, so it all worked out.

Cash got lots of nice stuff. His favorite was of course the superman bike! He was outgrowing his little 10" bike so fast...

Cash has always been terrified of the vacuum. Well surprise! Look what he did! And it was even turned on! The really loud ones still scare him, but its a start.

Labor Day Weekend

Whats a weekend without a beach trip? The boys throwing rocks at Fogarty Creek Beach.


We made it to the state fair and the petting zoo was a huge hit. We also hit the dinosaur exhibit at the state fair. All the dinosaurs moved and made lots of noise. And below is just Kyler with a (thankfully) brand new pair of Cash's undies. Well at least we have one wearing undies the correct way.

Here are some videos of the boys. During the dinosaur exhibit at the state fair, Kyler was way too scared to make it past the first dinosaur so I took him out and waited for Cash and Perry to come out. As soon as Cash sees me he starts to do this impression of one of the dinosaurs and he was so enthusiastic about it he fell over showing me how cool this dino was. I wasnt understanding what he was saying until I took him through again and he showed me what dino was the coolest. And of course its Tiny off of dinosaur train. (a pbs cartoon the boys love- its awesome dinos and trains in the same cartoon). So the second video is Cash and Tiny. The third video is just a video of the boys throwing rocks at the beach.
