Ona Beach in January

We hit 63 this week so of course we had to, "go to the beach!" as Cash would say!

Whoever invented wader boots for kids was a genius. Now if only someone would invent a sweater that a kid cant take off every time you turn around. Good thing it was warm out. There were lots of people in shorts so he was lucky this time.....
I love this beach because of all the neat rocks you can find, not to mention sit or climb on.

Cash kept picking up old dead Crab shells, then he would throw them down and stomp on them. Typical boy.

This was taken after a short hike around a pond outside of Newport at the nature park.

Rain and Sun in January

Wet and ready to be done with the hike.
Peek-a-boo!

Its been pouring rain lately, but we had a beautiful day today riding bikes above the beach. I didn't get any of the boys faces-- I guess I'm getting slow. Then this last weekend Perrys family came down and everyone went for a hike at driftcreek falls by lincoln city while I slept:) Its a 4 mile hike roundtrip and Cash made it the entire way but Kyler had to be carried for quite a ways I guess. The falls were roaring due to all the rain.

Christmas 2010

So we had an accident with our Christmas pictures. They were all erased. Good thing we used our camcorder. Plus we at least noticed that they were no longer on the camera before we took down the tree. So here are some Redo's of Christmas. The best part of Christmas was when Cash came down the stairs and we told him Merry Christmas and he answered very sleepily- "Merry Christmas" - paused-then a very excited , "Merry Christmas! Lets open them!" The boys really ripped into there presents. They love their new toys and Kyler loves his new Dede (blanket) he hasn't even asked for the old ripped up one. Awesome! Cash loves his remote control tumbler car and for the first time he has been wearing a stocking hat without putting up a fight. Way to go Mom and Dad with the John Deere Stuff! We also know he loves the "John Deere Tractor" shirt because he insists on wearing it every time it comes out of the dryer. We wash a lot of clothes around here. The mark below Cash's nose is a scrape he got by driving cars in the house and tripping and getting a nasty cut on his face. He also had a large goose egg on his forehead thats finally gone.
